MAKE's Celeste e Verde Palette by Maryam Nassir Zadeh offers a colorful mix of contemporary pastels, fiery brights and earth tones that are nostalgic, fresh and natural.
The palette consists of four matte eyeshadows in a warm lemony yellow (Palermo), powdery blue (Celeste), deep rust (Brick), and neutral brown (Earth), highlighted by four matte lipstick shades with a touch of Hockney-inspired pink (Tulipa), Coral, Tangerine and Fire. These shades can be worn alone or layered, wet or dry, and subtly or built upon for a super-pigmented look.
Eyeshadows can act as eyeliner if worn wet and applied with a fine brush, and the lipsticks can act as a blush when applied with a finger.
Celeste e Verde (Sky Blue and Green) is a personal visual of lifestyle. Created by Maryam Nassir Zadeh for MAKE, the name was derived from Michaelangelo Antonioni's 1964 film 'Red Desert'. Shot in Technicolor, the director's first color film was intended to be interpreted as a painting and inspired Nassir Zadeh's approach to a more contemporary LA-set video work. The concept collection reflects a woman and her style in life: a life that feels spiritual, artful and authentic.
